Fischer and Löffler employees celebrate together

There was an element of "breaking news" in recent months for the two traditional Upper Austrian companies Fischer Sports and Löffler, with both of them having had an extremely successful financial year. Cause for celebration for all the members of staff. Top level athletes who race for both companies also honoured the festivities with their presence. And it goes without saying that nothing would have prevented Josef Fischer from taking part in this special celebration.

The festivities got off to a wonderful start in fine summer weather at Löffler's premises in Ried. With plenty of food and drink on hand for everyone, "Die Könige" took care of the musical entertainment and there was also a biathlon firing range for people to see if they could hit the target. Josef Fischer was delighted about the family-style atmosphere. It was clear to see that the head of the family business enjoyed being amidst his employees for the summer celebration.

Together through thick and thin
After having been through turbulent times together due to a difficult winter it was now also time to celebrate. "Every single employee is important to us. Without them, such achievements would not be possible," emphasises Bruno Obermayer, Managing Director of Löffler GmbH. His counterpart at Fischer Sports, Franz Föttinger, couldn't agree more: "Of the major Austrian ski brands Fischer is the only company which is still has Austrian owners and belongs entirely to the founding family. This family atmosphere is what makes us so special and makes Fischer stand out from its competitors. Today's celebration is our way of saying thank you to our employees for the exceptional loyalty and commitment over the years."

Thanks go to the employees
The crème de la crème of winter sport also took part to say thank you to the hard-working staff. After all, they are the ones who make the equipment that forms the basis for their success. Ski flying World Champion Gregor Schlierenzauer, Thomas Morgenstern, Martin Koch and Andreas Kofler, Olympic silver medallists in the biathlon relay Simon Eder and Dominik Landertinger and gold medallist from Vancouver Bernhard Gruber and Mario Stecher joined forces with overall Giant Slalom World Cup winner Kathrin Hölzl, Alpine stars Stefan Görgl, Manfred Mölgg and Georg Streitberger, the two Paralympics medallists Sabine Gasteiger and Stefan Schoner and last but not least former racer Hans Knauss and ski jumper Andreas Goldberger. All the athletes were happy to sign autographs and have souvenir photos taken to say thank you to the employees from the Innviertel region for their marvellous support.
